Ranthambore Crisis
Ill conceived projects.....
* Poorly conceived projects do more damage to the ecology than good.
* A good example is the canal built to transfer water from Malik Talao to Rajbagh.
Death canal in tiger land :
* 1. A 12 feet deep canal bifurcates prime tiger habitat.* 2. This is a Violation of Supreme Court Order dated 14/2/2000 in IA No. 548 in Civil Writ Petition No.202/95.
* 3.Was there any mention in the annual plan, forest plan or was prior permission of Hon'ble Supreme Court taken.
* 4. No technical advise was solicited by the department.

The Forest Department blames all the ills on tourism :
* But what about unchecked Govt. tourism, using government vehicles, at tax payers cost, to entertain family and friends under the guise of VIP tourism.
* Often such vehicles exceed the number of tourists vehicles inside the park.
* It is rampant, totally unchecked and breaks all the rules.
No Jeeps for Tourists on Diwali but Govt. Jeeps were allowed in large numbers :
* The Park register shows over 10 Govt. Jeeps inside the park when no Jeeps were allotted for tourists, most of whom had booked their rides 60 days in advance. No refund was given to those who cancelled their trips when they heard that Jeeps were not available.* Are no laws applicable to law enforcers?
Uncontrolled pilgrim traffic in the core area of the park:
* Some amount of pilgrims always came to Ranthambhore but nowadays the park authorities allows them to break all the rules, like:-* Walking in the core area
* Using diesel generators throughout the night in the core are.
* Using loud speakers in side the core area.
* Allowing the use of LPG gas inside the core area at an enormous risk to people and park Littering
